Peter Liversidges konstnärskap tar avstamp i hans Proposals (Förslag). Hans förslag Notes on Protesting har sin utgångspunkt i yttrandefrihet och rätten att göra sin röst hörd en högst aktuell fråga i en tid när det fria ordet är ifrågasatt och hotat i delar av Europa och resten av världen. Under hösten 2018 arbetade Peter Liversidge tillsammans med 110 elever från låg- och mellanstadium på Farsta grundskola och Adolf Fredriks musikklasser i Farsta  kring dessa frågor i olika workshops. Tillsammans skapade de banderoller, plakat och protestsånger där barnen uttryckte sin syn på omvärlden. Eleverna genomförde ett performance på Bonniers Konsthall i form av ett protesttåg. Verket Notes On Protesting uppfördes för första gången 2014 i London i samarbete med Whitechapel Gallery. I boken presenteras bilder från båda tillfällena, texter av Magnus af Petersens, Sofia Victorino och Michael Newman, samt noter och texter till alla protestsånger.
